Let me ask you a question ....What is difference between simulation and reality?
it's like simulation will have some predefined set of rules and reality doesn't have boundaries and have freewill.
Now scientists are researching that whether we are living inside a computer simulation.It's like in the movie matrix Morpheus saying to Neo that what we see is no real but it is matrix which is a computer programme
Physicists are saying that if we are living inside a computer simulation we can find that with some techniques.
But then what ? what will be our fate and who the hell are simulating us and what the F**k the want by doing so.
If at all the simulated reality thing is for real how can we contact our simulators.For the simulation to be useful it should be run at much faster than their local pace of time.So there might be a chance that the simulation is running so fast and those who are simulating the universe doesn't even notice us in such small time span.They might find us at the end of simulation in a log saying some nutcase living beings who slaughtered their own race and those who cut the branch on which they are sitting.
Now to run such a big simulation they need some tremendous computing power likely trillion times more than ours now.May be some sentient creatures of future with big brains want to know about their great great grannies and grand pa's and thus running this simulation.
If we ever know that we are living inside a simulation can we the simulated could do something to contact with the simulators.May be we can do nothing but live and die in an unreal world.
